Emma was born in Australia and now lives in Colombia. She is a filmmaker and multimedia artist with an MFA in film directing from the Sarajevo Film.Factory – studying there under acclaimed Hungarian filmmaker Béla Tarr.

PAPAGAJKA (The Parrot) was her debut feature-length narrative film, which premiered at the South by Southwest Film Festival [SXSW]. Her 2nd feature-length narrative film was completed in 2024 and premiered at Festival Internacional de Cine de Cartagena de Indias (FICCI) & Mostra Internacional de Cinema São Paulo. Emma’s moving image works have been selected for over 300 festivals and exhibitions worldwide and won several awards. She is an alumnus of the Torino Film Lab, Berlinale Talents, the Berlinale Short Film Station and the Reykjavík Talent Lab.

Gonzalo Escobar Mora is an artist who wants to be filmmaker, and a filmmaker who wants to be an artist. He loves this confusion. Gonzalo received a Master of Arts in Film Directing from the Sarajevo Film Academy and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. His work encompasses short films, installations, video art, documentaries, film essay, animations, and more.

He questions formal definitions and narrative structures, exploring intersections between the personal and the political. He has worked on a variety of projects throughout Latin America, Europe, and the United States. As a citizen of the world, he continues exploring and stretching the aforementioned confusion.

Louise McElhatton is a film producer from Australia. She is based between the UK, USA & Australia. Louise is inspired by filmmakers who create strange and meaningful film worlds, and stories to provoke contemplation and questions about the moral ambiguities of humanity.
