
Emma Rozanski
Emma was born in Australia and now lives in Colombia. She is a filmmaker and artist with an MFA in film directing from the Sarajevo Film.Factory – studying there under acclaimed Hungarian filmmaker Béla Tarr.
PAPAGAJKA (The Parrot) was her debut feature-length narrative film, which premiered at the South by Southwest Film Festival [SXSW] and the Sarajevo Film Festival. Her 2nd feature-length narrative film was completed in 2024 and premiered at Festival Internacional de Cine de Cartagena de Indias (FICCI) & Mostra Internacional de Cinema São Paulo. Emma has created a wide variety of moving image works and they have been shown in many and various festivals, museums and exhibitions globally. She is an alumnus of the Torino Film Lab, Berlinale Talents, the Berlinale Short Film Station and the Reykjavík Talent Lab.
